curd rice

Curd Rice:
      
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Cooked rice 
  • 1 cup Yogurt /curd
  • 1/4 cup Milk 
  • 1 tbsp Oil 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1-2 Green chilli 
  • 1/2 sp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds 
  • 1/4 sp Asafoetida/hing 
  • 10-15 Curry leaves 10-15
  • 2 tbsp Fresh pomegranate pearls

Method

  • Take rice in a bowl, add milk and curd ,salt and mix well.
  • Chop green chilli and add to rice.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal, mustard seeds,hing,curry leaves .fry for min.
  • Add the tempering to rice and mix well .
  • Chill in the refrigerator. Transfer into serving dish, sprinkle some pomegranate pearls and serve.
