Ellu unde/sesame sweet balls/til ladoo

                   


Ingredients:

  • Sesame seeds 1 cup
  • Jaggery 1 cup
  • Ghee  3 tbsp
  • Cardamom  powder 1/2tsp
  • Water  1/2 cup

Method:

  • Dry roast the sesame seeds in a flat pan on medium heat. Rost  till they are a very pale golden colour and aromatic.
  •  Put the jaggery and water in a pan and melt to form a thick syrup.
  • Add the toasted sesame seeds to the syrup and mix well, add the ghee. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Take off from the stove.
  • Take small amount of mixture and roll it in hand to form a ball or ladoo.
