MANGALORE BUNS:
Mangalore Buns is usually served for Breakfast with sambar or chutney on the side.its very tasty and delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups maida flour
- 2 ripe bananas (peeled & mashed)
- 2 tbsp ghee ( use to grease ur palms)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup curd /yogurt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- oil for deep frying
Method:
- Sieve maida, baking powder & salt together.
- Add curd, sugar and bananas in it.
- Grease your palms and kneed them to a soft dough and make a big ball.
- Cover and keep aside for 8 hrs in the fridge.
- Make smaller balls and and roll them into small circles, slightly thicker & smaller than puris.
- Drop them in hot oil one by one and fry them till golden brown evenly.
- Drain on an absorbent paper.
