MANGALORE BUNS


MANGALORE BUNS:
                  
                     Mangalore Buns is usually served for Breakfast with sambar or chutney on the side.its very tasty and delicious.

                  


Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups maida flour
  • 2 ripe bananas (peeled & mashed)
  • 2 tbsp ghee ( use to grease ur palms)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup curd /yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • oil for deep frying


Method:

  • Sieve maida, baking powder & salt together. 
  • Add curd,  sugar and bananas in it. 
  • Grease your palms and kneed them to a soft dough and make a big ball.
  • Cover and keep aside for 8 hrs in the fridge. 
  • Make smaller balls and and roll them into small circles, slightly thicker & smaller than puris.
  • Drop them in hot oil one by one and fry them till golden brown evenly.
               
  • Drain on an absorbent paper. 
  • serve with chutney/sambhar...
