Tamarind masala rice:
Ingredients:

Coriander powder -1tsp

Jeera powder -1tsp
·
Peanut powder -1tsp
·
Fried gram powder -1tsp
·
Cloves + dalchinni+ pepper powder -1/2tsp
·
Urad dal ,channa dal -1+1 tsp
·
Channa dal -1tsp
·
Peanut -1tsp
·
Mustard seeds -1/2tsp
·
Jeera - 1tsp
·
Curry leaves -5
·
Crushed ginger garlic - 1tsp
·
Onion -
1(chopped)
·
green chilles - 3 to
4(chopped)
·
coriander leaves - handful(chopped)
·
Tamarind juice/pulp - 1/4cup
·
Oil -1 to 2 tbsp
·
Salt as per taste
Method:
·
Heat oil in a kadai, add urad dal, channa
dal, peanut, fry few sec. then add mustard seeds, jeera , curry leaves, crushed ginger garlic and fry few min.
· Then add chopped green chillies, chopped
onion , fry until onion truns transparent.
· Then add tamarind juice to it and add
salt mix well .. cook for 3 to 4 mins.

Add this mixture to cooked
rice..then add all masala powders -
coriander,jeera, peanut, clove ,dalchinni(cinnamon), peper powder one by one. And
mix well ..

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Now
ready to taste Tamarind masala rice.
