Onion rings dipped in a spicy batter and deep fried to a beautiful golden brown. This makes for an amazing, evening snack.
Ingredients:
- 2 big onions
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 10 gm carom seeds /ajwani
- 3 tbsp gram flour
- salt as per taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- oil for deep fry
- Water as required
Method:
- Mix gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder,salt, ajwani , with little water at a time to make a thick batter.
- Slice onions into rings.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Heat it on a very low flame.
- Dip onion rings in batter.
- Put it in hot oil and fry well.
- Fry these till they turn brown. and serve with tea..
