SHANKARPOLE


Shankarpole

             




Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cup milk 
  • ½ cup powdered sugar 
  • ½ cup ghee 
  • ½ cup refined flour 
  • ½ cup wheat flour 
  • Dry flour as required
  • Oil to fry

Method:

  • In a pan, add milk, powdered sugar and ghee and let it boil. 
  • To make the dough, in a bowl add refined flour, wheat flour, the boiled milk and ghee mixture and make a dough.
  • Sprinkle dry flour on a board and roll a big roti out of the dough.
  • Cut into the required shape with a cutter and remove on a plate.
  • Fry in hot oil and then remove on a tissue paper.
  • Once cooked, store the shankar pole in an airtight container.
  • Shankar Pole are ready to eat.
